Glendale Officer Down
June 19th, 2005Last night just a quarter of a block from my home a Glendale police officer was involved in an accident with a possible drunken driver. I didn’t even know the accident had happened until this morning.
I don’t know the current condition of Officer Steve Kulb, 27, of the Glendale Police Department but I ask anyone reading this to stop for a moment, and pray that he will recover ok from this.
The driver of the vehicle that turned in front of him, Jorge Rodriguez, had to be detained by witnesses to keep him from fleeing the scene. He refused a DUI test so they have had to get a search warrant to take a blood sample for testing on alcohol level.
I hate to say it but with our huge illegal alien population here in Arizona it could quite probably turn out that he’s neither a citizen of our country or here in any legal form either, but that is just speculation on my part. It would be interesting to find out the answer to that one though.

Update : As of this morning Officer Steve Kulb is still in critical condition. Please continue your prayers for this young Police Officer.
